The PLAY button

I feel so blessed, I am blessed. Thank you Lord!

In the car today (where I do most of my thinking and where I get most revelation), I began to thank God for His "Push" in my life. Lately, maybe it's winter and a little discouragement I was feeling, I had begun to feel tired and to be honest; lazy; I wanted to sleep A LOT.

Instead of getting up for work........... I pressed the snooze button.

When I would take a nap.............. I pressed the snooze button when the alarm would go off.

Then, I begin to feel even more tired. After one nap last week (and pressing the snooze button on my phone several times), I heard Holy Spirit say; Stop pressing the snooze button on your life. Simple, but powerful.

In the car, after leaving somewhere that I purposely went to plant some seeds, that I know by faith will bear much fruit, I just began to thank God so much; that although I was pressing the snooze button in life, He still gave me a push and lead me further into my purpose. As I look back over my life, I can truly say God has always been setting me up to be blessed, so that I can bless others. And He will continue to do so!
Sometimes, it may feel like God is not near or we wonder if he is concerned about our circumstance, let me tell you; HE IS! You may wonder, like I have many times; why the desires of your heart have not manifested yet; He knows exactly what He is doing, Follow Him, Look to Him and your hearts desires will meet you on purpose lane (notice I did not say perfect lane, but purpose lane). What He has for you, what He has for me is already ours in Jesus name.
I thank God for decreeing and declaring over my life that; He is the vine and I am the branch. If I remain in Him and He in me, I will bear MUCH fruit; apart from Him I can do nothing.
I'm remaining in Him, staying connected, and I'm on "Play" again.
God is love,
Naya ;-)

True Confessions..........

I rather be sleeping right now, but I felt an urge to write and to be honest with myself this time.

Wonder why I'm always encouraging others and sharing with them the hope and great future God has for them??? I thank God for the gift to encourage others and to speak into their life.

But I have to be honest, there is one person that I neglect to encourage and speak into their life; it's me. As I was laying down just moments ago and feeling so much pain from not understanding this season of my life; my pillow wet from tears flowing down my eyes and frustration from trying to understand, why??

I have been speechless lately with what has been going on in my life; have you ever been at a loss of words because you did not understand what the meaning of a undesirable and stretching season could be for in your life? I'm at a loss for words...............

"Neglect not the gift that is in thee", out of all the spiritual gifts the Lord has given my, I have neglected to use the gifts he has given me for myself (If that makes sense). I've shared my gifts with others, but when it comes to me; I have neglected myself.

A season is just what it is; a season and they do pass. A moment is exactly what it is, it moves on to yet another moment, and a breakthrough is what God has promised; I shall come through like pure Gold. I am the head and not the tail, I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I need not lean unto my own understanding, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, God loves me and He has a wonderful plan for my life, I am not forgotten, my Father knows my name. His answers are Yes and Amen to my prayers. He loves me, He has blessings with my name on it, what God has for me is for me!! I will live and I shall not die! No weapon formed against me will prosper. He will give me the the desires of my heart and I was born to win!! I am the apple of His eye, no good thing will He withhold from me. For He knows what I need before I even ask. He has not rejected me, He has elevated me; I thank Him for discipline and for whipping me into shape. For the race is not given to the swift, but to the one that endures!! I will hold fast to His promises, I will trust Him. For He is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man to change His mind. And with Him nothing is impossible!! There is a fire inside of me, a passion and I will share it with the world. Every dream will be fulfilled and manifest in my life. Every action of faith will be taken. Hallelujah! This season has almost past, it's only a matter of time. This is just the end residue; it's clean up time ;-)

Seasons, oh Seasons! Encouragement if your feeling lonely, discouraged or down during this joyous season.

Okay, so in lieu of the wonderful Christmas Holiday and New Years Coming, I wanted to encourage those who may not be in the most cheerful mood, those who may be waiting for God to answer a prayer or those that may be feeling lonely and discouraged.

It is very easy to fall into the commercialization of the holiday season, instead of the true reason for the season; to celebrate Christ's birthday. What a joyous occasion to celebrate!!

But anyway, I know how hard it can be when others around you have a significant other or a spouse and you so desire to have that as well. Let me first encourage you by saying that Psalm 37:4 is a promise that when we delight ourselves in the LORD, He will give us the desires of our heart. So, when we have a personal relationship with our Father, His desires become our desires. You have to believe that God will fulfill His promise, no matter what you "feel" like, having faith has nothing to do with how you "feel"

Here are some things I have learned, that I pray will help you as well, while waiting for the promises of the Lord to manifest in your life;

1) Do not be hard on yourself because you feel down. Sometimes we try to be so strong and cover up how we really feel inside. However, until we are honest about it, it will not go away. So please, do not beat yourself up because of how you feel. Everyone has had difficult or discouraging times in their lives, you are not the only one!!

2) Do NOT isolate yourself. Though it may seem like the most convenient and comfortable thing to do, don't keep yourself from being around those that love you or others who can help lift your spirit up. I know how it is when you are going through and you don't want to be around anybody!! Sometimes, even being around others who seem happy or that seem they have it all together can make you feel even more frustrated; however true friends and loved ones love you and just being around them can make you feel better.

I guarantee you, you will feel worse if you isolate yourself. All it will do, is give you more time to think about what you don't have and how bad you feel about your temporary circumstance.

God wants us to be surrounded by like minded people and the body of believers through all seasons;

The bible says in Hebrews 10:24-25; "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching".

3) Pray, Pray, and Pray some more!!! Prayer is SO powerful ya'll and God does answer every prayer. Prayer is communication with our Father, the closer we are to Him the smaller our "problem" becomes. Some things we don't have because we have not even asked for them (James 4:2). There are also prayers that God answers with WAIT (I know, I know, it's not always what we want to hear, but Father knows best). Psalm 27 is one of my favorite Psalms, but their are two verses at the end of this Psalm that has encouraged me for as long as I can remember (13-14):

"I am still confident of this:I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."

Waiting normally is not easy, however we all have to do it sometimes. Also, as my pastor says; "Time is not your enemy". When God tells us to wait, He knows what He's doing. There is a reason for the wait and remember that waiting is not sitting around doing nothing; there is much work to be done in the Kingdom! (I will talk a little more on this later).

And finally sometimes, His answer is something better for us than we asked for. He knows what is best! Proverbs 16:9; In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.

4) Find someone that you can talk to. Whether it be a prayer partner, covenant partner, a trusted friend, family member, pastor or co-minister of the gospel of Christ. Ask God to reveal someone that you can share what you are going through with, someone who will listen to you and not have their own selfish ambitions. God will provide that friend for you.

5) Pray with a prayer partner. Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." It is important to come into agreement with a brother or sister in Christ about your prayer request or when praying for a breakthrough. There is power in coming together in prayer!

The Bible urges us, "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints" (Ephesians 6:18).

6) Pursue the dreams, passions, and visions that the Lord has given you. Do not put your life on hold because of things not being the way you want them to be. While waiting on God to manifest His promise; begin to write the vision down and make it plain!!

If it is a gift that you want to share with the world (dancing, teaching, preaching, singing, etc.), begin to put those gifts to use. One of my favorite parables is the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:12-28), (I will have to post another blog about this). However, as one of my sisters shared with me; "Don't wait for your calling to come, to use your gifts", In other words don't wait for the divine assignment to come, you already have the gift now, put those gifts to use!!

If it is a future husband that my sisters are believing God for; or a wife that my brothers are believing God for, ask God to help YOU to become the future help meet (sisters) or leader of your home (brothers) that you need to be. Let Him do a work in you!! Also, you could do things like write letters to your future spouse, Pray for them daily, pay off some debt, begin preparing your self physically or using those gifts that you have that I just mentioned, to bless others. One of the best things to do in waiting for God to bring the love of your life into your life is to give your time to others in need. Money is not the only way to sow, we can sow into the lives of others!!

If it is a ministry or business begin to write your mission and vision and surrounding yourself with others that are in that field. Educate yourself on how to get things started and equip yourself with the word of GOD as your foundation.

Brothers and sisters; trouble does not last always and we serve a God with whom NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE! He is a God that performs miracles daily, a God who answers prayer, who gives us strength, peace, and love. His a God who fulfills dreams and He has promised not to withhold anything good from you. Know that your labor is not in vain! Weeping may endure for a night, but joy does come in the morning!!

Love ya,

Lynnea ;-)

10 Reasons to wait for marriage to have sex

Remember, it is never too late to make the decision to wait and to honor God with your body. I myself am not a virgin, I did not always see the importance of waiting, but I do now! God's love, grace and revelation of his word is sufficient; I am a new creature in Him and you can be too. It is not to late!!

Anyway, I thought to write my own list of 10 reasons to wait for marriage to have sex; since nowadays it's portrayed as "unheard of". There are men and women waiting and even more can. Let me also add that sex is a BEAUTIFUL gift from God. I thank Him all the time that during the fall of man, He did not take the pleasure away from it; I am so thankful that we can still enjoy sex; God did not have to give us this pleasure, but He did!! THANK YOU JESUS!! He desires us to enjoy this wonderful gift in marriage between 1 man and 1 woman. I am looking forward to blessed and great sex with my HUSBAND in Jesus name! Wooohooo!

1) God created sex for husband and wife; no exceptions. His word is pretty clear to me.

2) I am worth the wait.

3) My husband to be is worth the wait.

4) Studies show that couples that have sex before marriage; have less sex once they get married AND have less pleasure. Studies also show that couples who wait to have sex after marriage have sex more and have more pleasure.

5) I love the Lord and I want to obey Him.

6) Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit; we were bought at a price.

7) God will use my husband and myself as models; to others.

8) Won't have sexual baggage between each other that goes into the marriage.

9) The decision to obey God and wait will not only affect myself, my husband, and our marriage; but generations will be blessed; our children, their children, cousins, uncles, aunts, friends, associates. The impact is limitless.

10) You will get to know your future mate as a friend and as a person; without additional emotions clouding your view. When you are physically involved with someone, it's harder to see things without "foggy lenses".

11) If you have self control before you get married, your chances of having self control in your marriage are higher.

12) We are fearfully and wonderfully made, we are more than our bodies and what we can offer sexually.

(I can count, I just added two bonuses). There are others, maybe I will do more posts.

And generations will be blessed..........

Today I began to think about the decisions I make (we make), in life and how sometimes we can take them too lightly. The decisions we make and the choices we make not only affect our individual lives, but they affect those around us and generations to come (i.e. our children, childrens children, communities, nations). Yes, I said nations because it is THAT serious!

I think about father Abraham and the powerful impact his obedience has on our lives today. Had he not been obedient to God, generations and nations would be different than they are now. Because of his obedience,
